Gas is ominously affordable right now, but it got really cheap in Ohio over the weekend[1]. A computer glitch at a gas station in Toledo resulted in their price dropping to $0.19. Then, a nearby gas station lowered their prices to $0.17 in order to compete.
It's almost cheap enough to justify driving all the way to Ohio to fill up.
Unfortunately, the deal of the century has since ended, but not after a bunch of drivers took advantage of it. The two stations had the prices up for about three hours, until the error was fixed.
It's officially the only good thing to ever happen in Ohio.
